Greetings,

 

I am writing to let you know that a Mayor’s Town Hall for Central Area residents is scheduled forTuesday, March 22, from 5:30-8:00p.m., at the Garfield Community Center, 2323 E. Cherry Street.

 

Your community organization is invited to have an information table at this event.  Come and engage with your neighbors, spread the word about the good work your group is doing, and recruit new members.  Please RSVP to me by March 11 – space is limited.

 

I hope you’ll spread the word to your organization’s membership about this event and encourage them to attend.  It’s a good opportunity to ask the Mayor questions.  City Departments (i.e. Parks, SDOT) will be staffing tables and will be available to respond to your questions on city-sponsored programs, services and initiatives.

 

Here is the tentative schedule for the event:

 

5:30-6:30p.m.      Information tables staffed by community groups and City departments

6:30-6:40p.m.      Entertainment by a local performer

6:45-8:00p.m.      Q & A with Mayor Mike McGinn
